Problem and Purpose Statement

Problem Statement:

The information signs at the Millbrae Caltrain Station cause confusion to passengers who

always get wrong direction from the signs.

Purpose Statement:

The purpose of this study was to research and develop a clear and efficient information

sign for all passengers to get information easily and quickly.

Problem statement:
The Borders Cafe in Down Town Sunnyvale is not functional or comfortable, which doesn't meet readers' needs and wants.

Purpose statement:
The purpose of this study was to observe and develop the Borders Cafe to be functional and convenient for its readers especially the hacker group.  

Problem and statement:
The Starbucks Coffee paper cups cause healthy problem for its consumers due to the plastic (polythene) internal layer cannot handle the 70+ Degree heat. 


Purpose statement:
The purpose of this study was to research and develop a healthy material to make safe paper coffee cups for its coffee consumers.
